Scanning near-field optical microscope with spectrometer and oscilloscope, used for imaging, topography, space-resolved luminescence measurements, evanescent light measurements. The instrument is versatile and can be integrated with different light sources, filters, sensors, acquisition systems.
Note: Raman spectroscopy is quite limited with the tool due to the fluorescence of the filters. Wavelength shifts below approximately 500 cm^-1 cannot be measured. Upgrade is costly and requires installing the Rayshield-type filters.
Functions:
- confocal microscope
- (temporarily unavailable) SNOM (present resolution: 60, 90 and 150 nm)
- (temporarily unavailable) AFM
- can be adapted for Raman spectroscopy, but the recommended tool for Raman is the Micro-Raman in F13
Light sources:
- green laser (532 nm)
- purple laser (403 nm)
Collection modes:
- reflection
- transmission
